Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using this website, booking a class or session, purchasing a membership or gift card, or registering for a retreat, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Homegrown Yoga offers yoga and pilates classes, reformer pilates, mat pilates and barre, yoga sculpt, private one-on-one sessions, memberships and class packs, gift cards, and group and private yoga retreats.

3. Health and assumption of risk

Yoga, pilates, and other physical activity carry inherent risks. Please consult your physician before starting a new practice, especially if you are pregnant, recovering from injury, or managing a medical condition. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for working at a level that is safe and appropriate for your body. Tell your instructor about anything that affects your practice.

4. Bookings, memberships, and cancellations

Classes, memberships, class packs, and payments are processed through MindBody and subject to MindBody's terms in addition to ours.

• Class cancellation window: Cancel at least 3 hours before class begins to avoid a fee.
• Late-cancel / no-show fee: $15, charged to the card on file or deducted from your class pack.
• Memberships: Memberships renew automatically on the schedule selected at sign-up unless cancelled. Cancellation and refund terms are [to be confirmed by studio].
• Class packs and drop-ins: Refund terms are [to be confirmed by studio]. All class purchases are refundable as MindBody account credit.

5. Merchandise and retail returns

Retail items (apparel and accessories) may be exchanged for store credit within 14 days of purchase, provided they are unworn, unused, and unwashed with original tags attached. Earrings and other pierced jewelry are final sale for hygiene reasons. Defective items may be refunded or exchanged. Sale items are final sale.

6. Studio age policy

Adult yoga, pilates, barre, and reformer classes are open to students aged 12 and older. Kids' classes (ages 4–11) require a parent or guardian to be present at the studio to sign the waiver, complete purchase, and handle drop-off and pick-up.

7. Retreats

Retreat bookings, deposits, balance due dates, and cancellation terms are governed by the specific terms provided for each retreat at the time of registration. Deposits may be non-refundable. Trip insurance is strongly recommended. [Full retreat-specific terms to be supplied by studio.]

8. Gift cards

Gift cards are issued through MindBody and may be redeemed toward classes, memberships, and retail. Expiration and redemption terms are [to be confirmed by studio]. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Homegrown Yoga, its owners, instructors, and staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website. You release Homegrown Yoga from claims related to injury sustained during voluntary participation in classes, sessions, or retreats, except where caused by gross negligence.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Logan County, Ohio.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
